BRIEFLY…

I am a long-time technology, media non-guru. My software background started in the 80s working under the “guidance” of this CEO of Dragons Den’s fame @ SoftKey Software during the days of DOS 2.1. From there, I ran some of my own startups both in Canada and the US, notably Brooklyn during the dotcom days with clients like this famous filmmaker and this famous music mogul while working as an associate editor at this NYC magazine. Then I served time at HBO’s urban new media division Volume.com as Chief Of Content and watched the dotcom industry implode before developing this Emmy-nominated cross-platform TV series where I served as Exec Producer.

Now I’m the Vice-President of Interactive Content at a media company owned by this TV visionary and, having been around the block, hope to infotain you with this long overdue blog.

p.s. Judging from this Entertainment Weekly review, I am quite likely the first person to blog from the ‘hood. LOL.
